Client Transformation: Taylor

I thought it was time to spotlight one of my recent clients: Taylor. Taylor has graciously allowed me to share her story and I am so inspired by her conscious effort to become healthier and fitter without dieting. I am so excited to share her journey with you!

The starting point

When Taylor decided I was the right personal health coach for her, we really got into the nitty gritty about what she was experiencing and what her personal end goals were. This is very important when meeting with new clients. I always want to make sure I am on the same page with my client and know exactly how and what I need to do to help them achieve the results they desperately want!

Taylor was eating very, very little and was no longer seeing any results from her exercise efforts. This type of plateau often happens to those who are really restricting their calorie intake. After discussing her options and what she really wanted to achieve with her diet plan, we worked together and upped her food intake. When she ate more food (hitting her macro goals) , Taylor lost weight again and was back on track to her goal weight!

No shame in her food game

While on a really restricted diet, it’s normal to feel self shame when you eat and enjoy certain foods. It is a very common issue and I see it often when I start with clients who are restricting calories.

Since Taylor was restricting her calories and food intake, she had feelings of shame whenever she ate certain foods. This is a really hard path and can cause major health issues. If you feel you are on this path, I recommend seeking a out nutritionist or fitness coach who can help.

After we stopped restricting Taylor's food intake and changed her dieting plan, she saw results, both physically (losing weight) and mentally. She slowly felt less and less shame when she ate her favorite foods and she could actually enjoy them while knowing she was on the right path with her exercise and calorie intake.

Talk about health journey motivation

Taylor’s health journey hasn’t been easy, but she is one of the most disciplined people I have ever worked with! Her motivational spirit was present in all of our 1:1 sessions and she has even used her progress and health journey to help motivate others! It is amazing to see my clients transform themselves and then help others get started on their own transformation.

Taylors posts on Instagram and daily example show her followers, friends, and family how much happier she is in her own skin!
